Our Data & Security Commitment

AeroBase takes data security seriously. Your work orders, maintenance records, client profiles, and all operational data are:

✓ Stored on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with redundant backups
✓ Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
✓ Access-controlled with row-level security — only your team can see your data
✓ Protected by automated backups and disaster recovery procedures
✓ Never sold, shared, or used for advertising

We recommend MRO operators also maintain their own local export backups of critical records as part of their quality management procedures.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using AeroBase ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use this Service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to use the AeroBase platform for your legitimate aviation maintenance operations. Under this license you may not:

Modify, copy, or redistribute the platform software
Use the platform for any unlawful or commercial resale purpose
Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software component
Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
Transfer your account access to unauthorized parties
Access the Service to build a competitive product

3. Data Ownership & Security

You own your data. All work orders, maintenance records, logbook entries, client profiles, and operational data you create in AeroBase remain your property at all times.

AeroBase implements industry-standard security including:

Encrypted data storage and transmission
Regular automated backups
Role-based access controls
SOC 2-aligned infrastructure via our cloud providers

While we take every measure to protect your data, no internet-based system can guarantee 100% uptime or absolute security. We strongly recommend MRO operators maintain independent backups of mission-critical records per their quality management system requirements.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THIS SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. AeroBase makes no representations or warranties regarding the operation of this Service. You expressly agree that your use is at your sole risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL AEROBASE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THIS SERVICE.

This includes data loss, system failures, inaccuracies, outdated information, or reliance on information provided by the Service.

6. Professional Advice Disclaimer

The information and tools provided by AeroBase are for operational assistance purposes and do NOT constitute certified professional advice. All maintenance actions must be verified against:

Current manufacturer-approved Airworthiness Manuals (AMM)
Current FAA Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
All applicable regulatory requirements

AeroBase bears no responsibility for aircraft maintenance decisions or regulatory compliance.

7. Misuse of Service

Prohibited activities include unauthorized access, transmitting malware, sharing credentials, circumventing payment systems, or infringing on intellectual property rights. Violations may result in account termination and legal action.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AeroBase, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims or damages arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

9. Modifications

AeroBase reserves the right to modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. You irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
